UI template: Floor Ad
This full-width ad format appears at the bottom of the browser window. An image file used as the main panel is placed in the center of the full-width banner’s container and doesn’t scale. The remaining space is filled with color. On user action or automatically the expanded panel appears, the expanded panel may contain video. On the Collapse button click, the expanded panel collapses. An ad closes entirely on the Close button click.
This ad format may be subject to restrictions imposed by Google in cooperation with the Coalition for Better Ads on delivery of ads in Chrome. List of ad experiences that should be avoided in this ad format according to Initial Better Ads Standards:

Asset requirements
Banner
- Height of the Main panel is 90px; is subject to change
- Width of the Main panel depends on the user screen width. Recommended min. width is 1280 px. A space between image and banner container borders may be filled with color. Banner container width is 100% of a screen width
- Height of the Expanded panel is 400px; is subject to change
- Width of the Expanded panel may be any but should not exceed the Main panel’s width
- File type: .jpg, png, .gif
Audio
User-initiated only (off by default)
Video (optional)
- File type: .mp4
- Size: any within the Expanded panel
- Auto or user-initiated
- Duration: 30 sec
- Recommended video file aspect ratio is 16:9
- Placement: video player container is placed on the center of the expanded panel
Buttons (provided by the creative template)
- Audio: Mute/Unmute – button is provided by the video player module
- Video: Play/Pause – button is provided by the video player module
- Expand – button for expanding initiation
- Collapse – button for collapse initiation
Size
- up to 500 Kb without video
- up to 3 Mb with video
Template Settings
The template settings are available in the UI.
Background Color
You can choose a button color in the additional color window or enter a color code.
Close Button
- Dark — the button will look like this
- Light — the button will look like this
Expand Types
- Click — a banner expands after a click on it
- Mouse — a banner expands when the cursor is over it
Expand Speed
The time of banner expanding is set in milliseconds.
Autoplay
- Yes — video plays automatically
- No — video is started by the user
Panels Upload
- Width — banner width; defined automatically on image loading
- Height — banner height; defined automatically on image loading
Video
Video upload type:
- Local — video will be uploaded to a server from the user’s computer
- URL — video will be served from a third-party server following the link to an .mp4 file
- Width — video player width
- Height — video player height

Chrome will limit the resources a display ad can use before the user interacts with the ad by removing heavy creatives from the page. An ad is considered heavy if the user has not interacted with it (for example, has not tapped or clicked it) and it meets any of the following criteria:
– Uses the main thread for more than 60 seconds in total
– Uses the main thread for more than 15 seconds in any 30-second window
– Uses more than 4 megabytes of network bandwidth
– Uses the main thread for more than 60 seconds in total
– Uses the main thread for more than 15 seconds in any 30-second window
– Uses more than 4 megabytes of network bandwidth
